My name is Jane and I live in a small town called Silverlake. I like living here, but I rarely stay home on weekends. My friends and I usually go to the beach on Saturday and return on Sunday. Sara, a friend from college, has a car – so she drives us all to a nice inn near the beach, where we stay overnight.
I’m not a good swimmer, so I just lie on the sand and watch my friends. I never forget to bring sunscreen with me, otherwise I’ll usually get a sunburn! We all enjoy playing beach volleyball and Sara is the best player among us. She’s really strong and athletic, so her team always wins.
My friends and I can’t cook: we’re hopeless in that area. We usually grab a bite for lunch at one of the small restaurants by the beach. Before we go home at night, we stop by the local market to pick up some instant pasta for dinner. Not great, but our trips are always fun anyway!
grab a bite = comer algo rápido
